Elaine Roesle has been creating Santas in her Ohio studio since 1978. Each Santa in the St. Nicholas collection is lovingly crafted by hand, one piece at a time. Elaine uses vintage fabrics, trims and accessories to give each piece its unique character. Many of the of the accessories are handmade or antique pieces she has acquired. The fur she finds and uses adds an elegant touch to the pieces. The majority of these beautiful pieces are a one-of-a-kind heirloom and all pieces are signed by Elaine. The detail in their accessories makes for an enchanting interpretation of Old World Santas.
Elaine Roesle’s St. Nicholas santas have appeared in Early American Life and she has been featured in Celebrate 365 and Collectors Edition magazines.
