Philadelphia Flower Show

Join us for a stroll through “Hawaii: Islands of Aloha” at the 2012 Philadelphia Flower Show. This year’s show will feature an all new show layout. Native and tropical plants will rise in a living wall amid cascades of orchids and thundering waterfalls. Hula dancers, torch-twirlers, and 3-D images of crashing waves and rumbling volcanoes will honor Pele, the Goddess of Fire. Dinner will be on Penn’s Landing along the Delaware River at the Chart House, serving the Philadelphia Community for 25 years. Voted “most scenic” by guests the Chart House features views of the Ben Franklin and Walt Whitman Bridges and the city skyline.

COST:

$132.00 (payable, in full, within 10 days of registration)

Wheel chair rentals are $15 a day on a first-come, first serve basis.

ITINERARY:

• Depart State College FAB at 4:30 am, Mifflinburg Country Farm and Home at 6:00 am, and Lewisburg Wal-Mart at 6:15 am. (Park in the west lot near to the clothing bins)
• Breakfast stop in Harrisburg
• Depart Flower Show at 4:15pm
• Dinner at the “Chart House” at 4:30 pm; includes Chart House Famous Mud Pie
• Return 9-9:30 pm Lewisburg; 9:30-10 pm Mifflinburg; 11-11:30 State College
